Class3（年中さん）と Class4（年長さん）は、5月21日にサツマイモの苗を植えました。

あれから4カ月余りが経ち、大きく立派に成長したお芋をいよいよ収穫しました！🍠

子どもたちは、収穫したサツマイモをそれぞれビニール袋に3～5本入れて持ち帰りました。
余ったお芋はしばらく SOPHIA で寝かせた後、調理して SOPHIAランチ（給食）でいただく予定です😊
自分たちで一生懸命植えて、掘って、収穫したサツマイモ。

どんなお料理になるのか、今からとても楽しみです！

Back in May, our Class3 (4-5age) and Class 4 (5-6age) SOPHIA kids planted sweet potato seedlings with great excitement.

Over the past four months, they’ve cared for them and watched them grow into big, beautiful sweet potatoes! 🍠

This week, it was finally time for harvest!

Each child proudly dug up their own sweet potatoes and took home 3–5 of them in a bag.

The remaining ones will be stored for a few weeks at SOPHIA before being cooked and enjoyed during SOPHIA Lunch. 😊

It was a wonderful hands-on experience — from planting to harvesting —

and we can’t wait to taste the sweet reward of the children’s hard work!
